The beautiful coastal town of Menton on the French Riviera comes alive every year during the famous Fête du Citron, and these photos were captured on March 1st at the height of the festival. Giant sculptures made entirely of lemons and oranges line the streets and promenade, creating a spectacular explosion of colour and creativity against the Mediterranean backdrop. With cheerful parades, fragrant citrus aromas, and joyful spring atmosphere, the Menton Lemon Festival offers one of the most unique and photogenic events on the French Riviera.
